The One Forgotten

Now the song has played
The shadows dance across the planks
In my eye I sway
Sway to something that cannot be
Can never be

The clock spun around
And now it matters no more
I felt the cold coming
The flicker of a flame pulled me back
But it died as quickly as before

Once in me I thought
Now the gentle music eases my soul
I see my reflection
It is obscure with that song
Standing on the very wooden planks

The sun shines through
I feel the cold
I feel it more often
My hand can feel the song
The one that can never be
The one forgotten
