Easter

Easter morning... we were very tired... yeah. But praise the Lord! It was a great day, I watched Godspell during the first service and went to the message the second service. Worship was amazing and the message was awesome.

After church we went to DC to see the cherry blossoms... (or what's left of them!)

We saw many strange things in DC, like a pig roasting outside...
a donkey/bus...
a pink house...
like gas for $3 a gallon (which really isn't too strange i guess)
graffiti... actually this is pretty cool! I love how graffiti looks...
and some random guy with a box on his head
There was a ton of traffic! But finally we got there...

my Dad was like "sit down and and do a beautiful pose..." no idea what that meant so I just smiled.

We weren't exactly sure what this meant...

At the end of the day, I definitely needed this:

Highlights from the trip home:

Jonathan (to Hannah): "The Lord detests lying lips, and your lying!"
Hannah retorts: "Well, boys smell the worst!"
One of my friends said that "girls are weird and boys are stupid." so on the way home I shared that with my family...
Hannah responds "I agree with that!"
Dad: "why Hannah, why do you think boys are stupid?"
Hannah: "Well, they just annoy me."
In church today a little boy prayed:
"Dear Jesus... we give you this offering... to forgive us our sins... Amen"
Jonathan is 4, Hannah is 6. Little minds do come up with strange things...

6 more days of being 16!

Matthew 28:1-10
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you." So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me."

Happy Easter Everyone!!!
