The Next Season

Exactly one year ago I started this blog so I could write about school and life and everything that's happening... now here I am a year later and I couldn't be more amazed at how much my Savior has taught me. As I look back and remember all the funny, sad, and joyful memories I can't be more excited about what the future will bring.
As I enter this new season of life it seems almost unreal how different life is. There are new challenges and new privileges... and I'm looking at high school from the outside instead of being involved in it. The singles meetings are great, they're so laid back but still strongly focused on the gospel and what should be guiding our lives. I'm also thoroughly enjoying being a part of the admin team, its such a joy to watch the youth of our church, to be able to observe them as they grow and to play a small part in communicating God's love for them is such a privilege.
So now, I'll kick off this new year with a post about one of my best friends and the verse which inspired more things in my life then just a blog name...

Psalms 16:5-6
Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a beautiful inheritance.

Up next (hopefully soon!)... a recap on the summer and the exciting new things in life
